libxesam-glib.so
Hi all, just a quick status update.
If you thought xesam was dead, think again. The gears are churning in the background and code is being written.
I have undertaken the task of creating a native xesam gobject library. I already have experience with xesam gobjects from xesam-tools and I plan to port the concepts from this toolset to the native library. Except that this implementation will be properly asynchronous all the way down. xesam-tools cheat a few places that should also be cleared up in time.
This is my first real foray into the full-fledged glib/autotools development and I must say that I’ve learned a lot. The learning curve has been pretty steep and I have a lot of comments that I want to share when I find the time. I have to do it soon though while I still have the feeling of a newcomer.
I am not ready to share any code yet, but that is coming soon. I already have the fundamentals in place.
